Brock Denton at XPRIZE.
Quantum, for the real world.

Brock is the Team Relations Manager for the Google Quantum Applications Prize at XPRIZE. He supports the competing teams as they push quantum algorithms toward quantum advantage on real-world problems, and he builds the systems that run the prize.

01 / The role

Supporting the teams

XPRIZE Quantum Applications asks teams to move quantum algorithms toward quantum advantage for positive, real-world applications. As Team Relations Manager, Brock supports the competing teams throughout the competition.

02 / Systems

Systems behind a global prize

At XPRIZE, Brock turns underused data into new insight and cuts manual work with automation and modular AI systems. Two examples:

Expertise matching

Judge Finder

Maps each team's work to the judges best suited to evaluate it, across the fields XPRIZE brings together, from quantum algorithms to real-world applications.

Full-lifecycle operations

Prize Operations Command Center

One operating view for the whole team lifecycle, from 900+ registrations to 12 finalists: team status, communications, eligibility, payments, judging, partner engagement and summit attendance.

03 / Hands-on

Quantum outside the prize

Brock also takes part in the Yale Quantum Conferences. At their first Quantum Hackathon he helped build a system that verifies the output of quantum random number generators and keeps track of the machine each result came from. The code is on GitHub.
